Weathergeek Weekly Blog Post #136

Good Evening and welcome to another blog post.
Well this past week provided some spits from the sky to make a splash in the dusty dirt.
Temps ranged in the Upper 70's to lower 80's this past week and we had another cold front move through the area.

WEATHERGEEK STATION CLIMO for Oct 22-29.
Max Temp: 82F Oct 24
Min Temp: 43F Oct 29
Total Precip: 0.11

WEATHERGEEK STATION OUTLOOK:
This week looks to bring in another shot of cold air towards Friday. Some Isolated T-storms should develop in the overnight hours of Thursday and carry through the early morning of Friday. This week temps will be in the 70's and near 80 by weeks end.

SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOK:
This week may have a slight chance of Severe Weather in the Northern MS and Southeast AR towards Thursday Evening.

WINTER WEATHER OUTLOOK:
Wow there was a Nor Easter in October that dumped some pretty good snow totals in parts of the Northeast ranging from flurries in Baltimore to 18 inches up in Western MA. This week is leaning towards another storm however this one may be found in the Northern Plains so I guess we would call this Snowcane Alpha. For the first major snowstorm of the Northern Plains season. We will keep you updated all week as this starts to take shape towards the end of the week. Current indications are for snowfall amounts to be near 4-8inches in the Milbank SD- Fargo ND area. This would sit the heavy snow band on the back side of the Low and also with the Northeast winds may lead to a upslope enhancement along the Northeast SD Foothills.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK: All clear at this time!!! Maybe the end has arrived????

Weathergeek.net Weekly Blog #135

Good Evening,

Here is the blog for this week. A great week was had here at the station had a few cool mornings with temps in the lower 40's. This week looks to be nice and then another frontal boundary by Thursday.

WEATHERGEEK STATION CLIMO:
Max Temp: Oct 16  90F
Min Temp: Oct 21  39F
Precipitation: .06in

WEATHERGEEK STATION OUTLOOK:
This week looks to be nice with temps warming up towards the 80's and then Thursday night into Friday morning a strong cold front is going to move through the area. This front will bring some Isolated T-storms to the area, however I don't think there will be much in the Severe aspect other than maybe some strong winds.

SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOK:
There looks like a pretty good chance of some Severe weather Tuesday-Wednesday into the Southern Plains around OK/TX.

WINTER WEATHER:
A potent low pressure system is going to travel the east side of the rockies bringing the potential for some strong upslope snowfall to the Eastern slopes of the Rockies even Denver might see some snow. Then this system will move into the Southeast and then up towards the Northeast where the potential is there for some signifcant snowfall in  VT/ME/MA and even Boston.

TROPICAL OUTLOOK:
TD#18 has woken and at this time looks like it will remain where it is at. I don't see any impacts to the US with this system as there is going to be a very strong High pressure building into the Southeast which will keep this system South.

Weathergeek.net Weekly Blog #134

Good Evening,
Welcome to another blog post.

Weathergeek Station Climo:
This week was rather dry we did pick up some rain during the middle of the week. Temps stayed in the 80's during the daytime and down to the upper 60's at night.

Weathergeek.net Station Outlook:
This week will be warm on Monday and then we are looking for some T-storms on Tuesday followed by what might be the strongest cold air of the season arriving for the remainder of the week. High temps will be down into the 60's and overnight lows may hit the 40's for a few nights.

Severe Weather Outlook:
This week I am focusing on a frontal system that is moving out of Texas and across the Southern US this just might spark some Severe storms across the Southeast. Also may see some squally weather in Florida with that Low comming up from the southwest.

Winter Weather Outlook:
Some light snow early this week in the Rockies and that is about it for this week.

Tropical Weather Outlook:
A low pressure area that is tyring to develop in the Southern Gulf of Mexico has continued to have large impacts on Central America may finally get picked up by the next frontal system that is coming across and push this Low towards Florida. There is a chance that this area could become a Tropical before heading up the front. No matter what happens this system will bring heavy rain up the East Coast this week.
