Weathergeek Station Outlook for this week: Look for more warm weather as Heat Indexs could approach 115 this week on many occasions, also look for the Isolated T-storms in the Afternoon to help provide a brief cool down. Hot and Humid this week!!!!

SEVERE WEATHER:  Look for an area to move through the Northern Plains early week and then extend back into the Northeast by mid week.

WINTER WEATHER:  N/A

TROPICAL WEATHER:  Look for a East Coast storm this week, my thoughts are that it will possibly push a CAT2 status however looks to remain far enough away form the US Coast. However look for Tropical Storm Conditions in PR the next couple of days. And a possible Landfall in Bermuda as a CAT2..... Outside of that Japan has another storm headed its way by mid week, looks like it should hit near Southern Japan. Eastern Pacific also a storm developing there which will remain over the open waters no impacts outside of mariners.

OUR STORE:  Its offical we have finally come up with a name to change OUR STORE to. We will be laying out the new design soon look for our store name to become CLUSTERS named after our famous Cluster the Cloud.

WEATHERGEEKS WXCHANNEL: Just launched a new way to see all of our shows such as Cluster the Cloud and Weather Trends. On the main page hit the tab on the side that says OURWXCHANNEL or follow this link:  http://blip.tv/weathergeekswxchannel

Weathergeek Weekly Blog #121 July 17, 2011

Good Evening and Welcome to another Blog..This past week here at the station we got just about 4inches of rain.
This is the most we have gotten since back early spring. Very nice
time for the rain help with the drought, however we still are a few inches behind.

SEVERE WEATHER: Looks like it will stay in the North, near the Canada border this week. There may be some damaging winds along the Gulf Coast in the Afternoon T-storms but overall not much this week.

WINTER WEATHER: N/A

TROPICAL WEATHER: It has happened Tropical Depression 2 has formed in the Atlantic just off the coast of Eastern Florida. Early Indications is that it will make it to Tropical Storm strength and then head out towards the open Atlantic, causing no problems for the US. Outside of that another system looks like it should form in the Eastern Pacific by early this week and make its way up the Baja. Lastly the Major Typhoon that is landing in Japan at this time, it looks like the worst is going to be around the Southern part of mainland and then return out just south of Tokyo.

WEATHERGEEK STATION: This past week we did get a nice rainfall. Now this week the High from the North is going to rebuild into the area, bringing the T-storms to more of a Isolated nature and also bringing in the Heat again, Temps are going back up into the upper 90's this week.....

OUR STORE: We have just changed publishing companies for our books and you can now get "THE CLOUDS STORY" online at our book store.

WINTER WEATHER: N/A

TROPICAL WEATHER: All looks quite in the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico for the week but there are becoming more waves in the Atlantic, have to just keep watching them over the next few days. My thoughts for this week are no storms....

Weathergeek.net Weekly Special Edition for July 1, 2011.

Good Evening,

Enjoy

Rents on the Outskirts

Guest written by our friend Gladys Fuentes

My parents live way outside of town and I’ve been helping them get a jump on the 21st century. They were way out of touch for the longest time so after the break in last month, I knew something had to be done. The first thing I did was install a security system at the place and I also traded mom’s car in for something a little less…diesel. I went to wildbluedeals.com and found a good satellite internet option for them and once that was through, I hired a lawn care company to help them keep the yard looking nice since dad just can’t get out and mow like he used to. Mom says they’re really grateful for how much effort I’ve put in but outside of that, I don’t really know what they’re talking about. It’s just my duty as their child to help them live the easiest life possible now that they’re old and retired! Anyone who says differently just isn’t being a good kid, in my humble opinion, but what do I know.

Happy 4th of July and Enjoy the Weather
