Good Evening,
Another week in the books. Well this week looks like it will have a taste of winter for the majority of the country.
Winter Weather:  Look for a heavy snows around the Lakes also up in Maine this week for heavy snow. We do have two more systems that will enter the PNW this week and go around the strong ridge that is in the Rockies forcing the snow to go into the Dakotas and drop southeast as clippers. I do see something brewing up in the Long Range at this time think it will stay off the East Coast far enough just to give a light dusting to the east coast around  Dec 12-14.  With this strong high over the Rockies right now dont expect any changes to the pattern until this High weakens. So the Southern part of the US will remain fairly dry and temps will really roller coaster for the week.
Severe Weather: No major threats this week.
Weather Headlines:  Possible Nor Easter around Dec 12-14 but  the majority of the precip should remain off the coast.
Weathergeek Station:  This week is going to bring in the coldest air of the year followed by a weeks end warm up and also the possiblityof thunderstorms on Friday. Temps will be in the 50-60s for Highs and the lows will be cold on Monday and Tuesday with night temps around the mid to upper 20′s….
